Assoc. Dr. Hakan Uzunoğlu is one of Turkey's leading gastroenterology surgeons. Serving in Kartal, Istanbul, Dr. Uzunoğlu, T.R. in March 2022. He received the title of associate professor from the Interuniversity Council. Specializing in the Basic Field of Health Sciences, he has in-depth knowledge and experience in the field of gastroenterology surgery.

Dr. started his education life at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine. After graduating in 2006, Uzunoğlu completed his specialty training in the Department of General Surgery. Her thesis study, completed in 2012, was on the investigation of NBS1 (Nibrin) gene polymorphism in women with sporadic breast cancer in the Turkish population, and in this study, Prof. Dr. Zafer Utkan provided consultancy.

Dr. Uzunoğlu started his academic career as a Research Assistant in the Department of Surgical Medical Sciences at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine (2007-2012). Between 2013 and 2015, he worked as a Gastroenterology Surgery sub-branch assistant at Ankara Türkiye Higher Specialization Training and Research Hospital. Later, he worked at Istanbul Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital (2015-2019) and Kartal Dr. He worked as a general surgery and gastroenterology surgery subspecialist at Lütfi Kırdar City Hospital (2019).

His memberships in scientific organizations include the Gastroenterology Surgery Association, of which he has been a member since 2014, and the Istanbul Gastroenterology Surgery Association, of which he has been a member since 2016.
